SAIP Program

The North Pocono School District participates in a program which is aimed at stopping truancy. Social service organizations and the local magistrate have joined forces with schools in Lackawanna County under the S.A.I.P. Program (Student Attendance Improvement Plan).

When students have exceeded absence limits, they and their parents/guardians are automatically enrolled in S.A.I.P. to make resources available and put plans in place to help improve their attendance.
